Outpatient Treatment in Plano, TX

Our Changes® outpatient treatment facility in Plano, TX offers outpatient treatment for mental health and addiction, with programs ranging from short and long-term therapy to ongoing medication management services.

Our treatment options include:

Partial Hospitalization Program

The Partial Hospitalization Program provides structured therapy five days a week. Patients spend 6 hours per day participating in psychotherapy groups, recreational therapy and educational groups. The treatment model is evidence-based and a combination of nationally recognized programs including the Hazelden program, motivation enhancement therapy, reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, twelve-step facilitation and dialectical behavioral therapy. Recreation, art, music and pet therapies are all offered as well. Medication management is provided by our psychiatrist or nurse practitioner. Additionally, family sessions are provided to involve families in the healing and recovery process of the patient.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Faith-based Group: Monday – Friday 9:15 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.

Intensive Outpatient Program

The Intensive Outpatient Program provides structured therapy five days a week. Patients typically spend 15 hours per week in the program. The treatment model is evidence-based and a combination of nationally recognized programs including the Hazelden program, motivation enhancement therapy, reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, twelve-step facilitation and dialectical behavioral therapy. Recreation, pet, art and music therapy groups are also provided.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Veterans/First Responders Group: Monday – Friday 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m

Alumni Support Group  
Meetings are held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of each month.

Family Involvement

Families have the opportunity to participate in education and support groups to increase their understanding of addiction and mental illness. This process helps them learn about themselves and their roles and responsibilities in the recovery process. With this important information in hand, the family has a greater opportunity to reunite and start interacting in a more helpful and healthy manner.
